The Chicago Botanic Garden’s online class about tropical plants is a virtual experience you can take anywhere!

New! The Midwest has a variable climate with fluctuating seasons, but our growing season is perfect to include and incorporate a wide range of tropical plants in our gardens and landscape. Tropical plants can offer bold texture, amazing scale, colorful flowers, and fragrance. You will examine a wide assortment of vivid tropicals for sun and shade for use in garden beds and containers. This class will be taught online via Zoom. All registrations must be submitted online two days before your class starts. Registered students will receive login instructions one day in advance.
