Take a cooking class at the Chicago Botanic Garden. All classes include recipes and tastings. Depending on availability, some ingredients and recipes may change. Closed-toed shoes are required. We will make every attempt to accommodate food restrictions by substituting alternative ingredients, however, our kitchen is not certified gluten-free and it is not kosher. Kindly consider your dietary needs before enrolling.

For online classes, via Zoom: Before the class, you’ll receive a list of ingredients to purchase, recipes, and advance preparation steps. Instructors will guide you through preparing the recipes.  You will be able to interact with instructors and hone your cooking skills from the comfort of your home.

For classes at the Chicago Botanic Garden: On-site classes will be offered, as state and local health department guidelines allow. We will limit capacity, monitor social distancing, and encourage frequent hand washing. Face coverings are required for the duration of class. Samples prepared in class may be served as take-home portions rather than consumed on-site.
