New! In this demonstration class, Emily Paster will teach you how to use up all those end-of-season green tomatoes before the frost comes. We will make green tomato salsa and pickled green tomatoes and can them. Participants will learn all aspects of water-bath canning, a safe and easy method of home food preservation, including safety, dos and don’ts, and equipment needs. Then, just for fun, we will cook up some fried green tomatoes and enjoy them on the spot.
