Nature provides us with a full range of textures and patterns that do not cease to enchant us. In this intermediate-level class you will learn how to capture nature’s design and organic forms with an artistic vision. We will learn about elements and principles of design, the use of light to sculpture the textures and carve out the details while paying attention to background and composition. Class will include lectures, weekly assignments, image reviews, and a final portfolio. Basic knowledge of your camera’s manual settings and of editing software like lightroom or photoshop are required.
