New! Salt is perhaps the most important ingredient in all of cooking. It amplifies flavors and alters textures. Home cooks are often confused about which kind of salt to use (table, kosher, or sea salt), when to use it, and how much to use. In this demonstration cooking class, you will learn when and how to add salt when cooking, the differences between the many kinds of salt, the science behind how salt transforms foods, and how to brine meat.
