New! Get ready for college with basic cooking skills to feed yourself and your friends. Inspired by the book, College Cooking, by Megan and Jill Carle, this class features easy and inexpensive recipes. Build confidence to use a chef’s knife to slice, dice, and mince. Learn proper methods of making coffee, cooking pasta, eggs (hard boiled, frittata, pan fried), sauces and dressings, and using leftovers in recipes such as frittata, cucumber melon agua fresca, peach panzanella, vegetable fried rice, pesto pasta salad, and marinara. Prepare for cooking on your own with this class.
