Threeflower Maple

Its leaves are quite beautiful; each is compound with three leaflets. It is a wonderful specimen plant. As its name implies, the flowers appear in clusters of three; however, these spring flowers are not very showy. It has attractive fall colors that range from yellow to orange to red. With its outstanding exfoliating ash-brown bark, this tree can dazzle the landscape all year long. Native to Manchuria and Korea, the threeflower maple can reach a mature height of 20 to 25 feet and has a dense, rounded shape. It is a beautiful small maple with handsome bark.
