This silver maple cultivar can reach a height of 100 feet with a spread of 80 feet. Given its size, great care should be taken when siting this tree. It requires full sun, but is tolerant of a wide range of soil types and conditions. It gets its name from the silvery undersides of its five lobed leaves. Fall color is yellow. This particular cultivar has stronger wood and better branching that the species so it would be a better candidate for a windy site.
