Flourish: The Garden at 50 is four-plus months of experiences, art, and, yes, joy. Every other weekend through September, you are invited to engage in our interactive, celebratory pop-up events. All activities are included with membership or general admission ticket. Check out the lineup below!

August 27 & 28
Mucca Pazza
Experience the genre-bending musical combination of marching band and theater at various pop-up performances throughout the weekend.
Saturday: Heritage Garden at noon, Rookery at 2 p.m., Evening Island at 3 p.m.
Sunday: English Walled Garden at noon, Rose Terrace/Linden Allee at 1 p.m., Rookery at 3 p.m.
September
September 10 & 11
Reframing Nature Pop-up
See a nature-based improvisational installation by artists Annie Asebrook and Heather Hancock.
All Weekend: At the Lakeside Garden crabapple walk.
September 24 & 25
Mariachi Sirenas
Chicago’s first all-women mariachi will serenade Garden visitors throughout the weekend.
Saturday: Rose Garden at 11 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.
Sunday: Rose Garden at 1 & 2:30 p.m.
