Program 8: Chicago Botanic Garden


At our culminating program, we looked back on our collaborations. 

We enjoyed a special dinner prepared by Chef Roberto Perez (Urban Pilón), Dulce Margarita, and Juan Carlos Cedillo. The Cedillos have ties to the Chicago Botanic Garden through Windy City Harvest's incubator farm program.

Participants summarized their programs, highlighting the power of community and culture that intersect in nature through food. We toasted each other and the prospect of co-creating "a garden made for you."
