Samba Weigela

<p>'Samba' is a little powerhouse of a <em>Weigela</em>. A semi-dwarf at three feet tall and wide, its branches are lined with pink flowers from late spring to mid summer. The foliage offers its own dark drama...deep green leaves edged in purple. The size means that 'Samba" can go where the larger old-fashioned varieties won't fit...small gardens...low hedges...even containers.</p>

<p>Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds love <em>Weigela</em>, and so do gardeners. For
a plant that gives you so much to look at, they're very easy to care
for. No
particular disease or pest
problems. No special soil requirements. Just give them good drainage,
reasonable moisture, and plenty of sun. Prune after spring bloom...fall
pruning
puts  next year's flowers at risk. </p>
