White Wands Veronica

This plant is a White Wands veronica. Veronica is named
for St Veronica who comforted Jesus on his path to Calvary.

White Wands veronica has white flower spikes from early to mid-summer. It grows to about sixteen inches in height and one to two feet in width and has dark green foliage that contrasts with the crisp white flowers. Dead-heading will encourage reblooming, cut back completely after flowering. Veronica benefits from consistently moist soils during the growing period but cannot tolerate wet soils during dormancy. It is unattractive to both deer and rabbits.
