Orange Princess Double Late Tulip

Orange Princess tulip (Tulipa 'Orange Princess') is a double late tulip, featuring bright orange flowers with a reddish flame on the outside of the petals. Strong, sturdy stems keep this 18-inch-tall beauty from toppling over during spring storms. Tulips grow best in sunny locations in well-drained soils that dry slightly after the foliage yellows in late June. Deter damage from rabbits and deer by inter-planting with bulbs they find unpalatable like Allium and Narcissus.
