Rock Stonecrop

What distinguishes 'Angelina' from other stonecrop sedums is its striking chartreuse foliage. When used as a groundcover or as a spiller in a container, that dense, bright mass of color acts as a "footlight" for taller plants with darker leaves. But the color show doesn't end there. 'Angelina' is a constant source of yellow flowers throughout the summer, and its leaves take on orange tones in autumn. Stonecrops are tough. They're native to rocky, arid mountains and cliffs from Asia to Western Europe, so they can tolerate wide variations in temperature. All they want is lots of sun and good drainage. That means they aren't limited to traditional garden beds. You can use them in rock gardens and as spillers in containers. Or plant them between pavers. They'll even thrive on green roofs or a south-facing living wall.
