Crystal Peak White Obedient Plant

Beautiful spikes of white flowers adorn this cultivar of the native obedient plant from July into early August. The interesting snapdragon-like florets are attached to the spikes with wiry little stems (pedicels) that can be pushed into different directions, where they obediently stay put. The plants have square stems and alternate pairs of variable and often toothed leaves, almost stalk-less with white flowers mainly in summer. 'Crystal Pink White' is an improved variety with a compact habit and longer blooming period than the species. Plant this obedient plant in full sun and in average soil, and water only enough to initially establish the root system.
