Switch Grass 'Prairie Sky’ is an upright ornamental grass that grows to a maximum height of 6 feet. It requires full sun to partial shade and medium to wet moisture conditions. Between August and February it produces showy dark red blooms.  Later, seed plumes are attractive to birds. The plant can be used as a specimen, in a hedge, or in a border.
