Golden Surprise Lily

Lycoris chinensis known as the Golden Surprise Lily has medium yellow to golden-orange spidery flowers with curved and ruffled petal edges. It is native to China and is hardy to zone 5. Slowly increases over time through production of daughter bulbs if planted in full sun to partial shaded locations with fertile well drained soils. All Lycoris dislike disturbance and will frequently remain dormant for a couple of years after transplanting.
