Ornamental sweet potato vines are used as a colorful foliage accents in summer flower beds and containers. This cultivar has large, heart-shaped bronzy-red leaves with five deeply cut lobes. It grows into a mound and spreads out to 24 inches or more. Flowers are scarce, looking like lavender and white morning glories. It can take bright sun or partial shade and loves summer heat. If the season is long enough, edible sweet potatoes may result, but will be small.
