Ruffled Apricot Daylily

Ruffled Apricot daylily has large apricot blooms in early to mid season. The petals on the large 7-inch flowers are ruffled and delightfully fragrant. The blooms stay open for more than 16 hours. Ruffled Apricot is a stunning addition to any garden. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. The American Hemerocallis Society has awarded Ruffled Apricot the Stout Silver Metal, Honorable Mention, and Award of Merit.
