Our Diane Daylily

Our Diane daylily has pink and cream bi-tone colored flowers with a green throat. The 3 petals differ in color from the 3 sepals. The blooms appear early in the season and measure 4.5 inches. Each flower stays open for at least 16 hours. Our Diane is nocturnal. The blooms open up in the late afternoon and close the next morning. Although each flower lasts only one night, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It may re-bloom. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade.
