Little Wine Cup Daylily

Little Wine Cup daylily has small wine red flowers with a green throat. The flowers are considered miniature for daylilies, measuring only 2 inches. The blooms appear early in the season. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and there are several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It may rebloom throughout the season. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. Little Wine Cup is a lovely addition to any garden. It has been awarded Honorable Mention by the American Hemerocallis Society.
