Jolyene Nichole Daylily

'Jolyene Nichole' has large pink blooms with rose veins, a golden yellow eye and a pale green throat. The petals are ruffled at the edges. The flowers, which appear in mid-season, measure 6” and remain open for 16 hours or more. It may re-bloom. In milder climates the foliage is green all year round. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. 'Jolyene Nichole' was awarded Honorable Mention in 1990, Award of Merit in 1993.
