James Marsh Daylily

James Marsh daylily has large, vibrant red flowers which measure 6 ½ inches. It is a striking addition to any garden. The blooms are delightfully fragrant and appear in early to mid season.Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. In 1983 James Marsh was awarded Honorable Mention by the American Hemerocallis Association.
