Hyperion Daylily

Hyperion daylily has lovely canary-yellow flowers on tall 3-foot stalks. The blooms are 5 inches in diameter and are delightfully fragrant. It blooms mid to late season, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. Hyperion has been awarded Honorable Mention by the American Hemerocallis Society.
