Chicago Star Daylily

Chicago Star daylily has huge 8- inch brilliant yellow flowers with green throats. It blooms in mid season and is a striking addition to any garden. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant may continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. Chicago Star was awarded Honorable Mention by the American Hemerocallis Society.
