Chicago Apache Daylily

'Chicago Apache' daylily is bright red with slightly ruffled petals and makes a striking addition to any garden. The blooms which appear in mid season measure 5”. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade.

'Chicago Apache' was awarded Honorable Mention in1985 by the American Hemerocallis Society.
