Brocaded Gown Daylily

Brocaded Gown has creamy yellow blooms with ruffled edges. The large 6” blooms appear in June to July. In milder climates it is green all year long. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and there are several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in either full sun or part shade. Brocaded Gown won the coveted Stout Silver Medal in 1989. It also won Award of Merit in 1986, Honorable Mention in 1983, and Junior Citation.
