Tiny Monster Cranesbill

Look carefully at the flowers on this plant and you'll see that each flower has five petals but the flower is symmetrical. If you happen to be here when it has seed pods you'll see that they have a graceful curved shape, like the curve of a crane's bill. Both of these are features of a cranesbill geranium.

Tiny Monster geranium flowers prolifically in late spring and early summer through till early fall with large bright pink flowers with red veins. It can be encouraged to rebloom in late fall by cutting back after this initial flowering. After the flowers fade the plant bears the
distinctive seed capsule. Tiny Monster grows to about a foot high
high and two feet in width in full or partial sun making it
suitable for borders in sunny areas. It prefers moist humus rich soil and requires regular deep watering during dry periods.
