Description

Hippolyta snowdrop was named in honor of the Queen of the Amazons is a hybrid featuring large flowers with multiple, large, inner petals; all with a prominent green marking.  Like other snowdrops it is sweetly fragrant and resistant to predation from deer, rabbits, voles, etc.  The chemicals in the sap and flowers that ensure there is no tissue damage below freezing also deter herbivores.
