Selection Joe Pye weed is a cultivar of a native plant of the eastern parts of North America. Selection is a heavy flowerer, bearing white or purplish-white flowers in late summer and early fall which are attractive to many butterflies. Selection grows to about 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. It is prone to attack by mildew so planting in a sunny spot with good circulation would be ideal.
