Chief Gold Celosia

Deep gold crested cockscombs continue to increase in size over the summer resulting in massive flowers that can be harvested and dried - or left in place to supply songbirds with food. This is no shy ankle-bitter that has to be moved to the front of the flower bed in order to be seen in that it matures around three feet in height - well able to hold it's own when interplanted with perennials. Full sun and average soils are keys to success.
