Australian Silver Allamanda Vine

Bright, golden-yellow trumpets with orangish tubes are produced sporadically throughout the year on a mounding nonhardy shrub with grey-ish green leaves with a silver sheen. A native of Brazil, this smaller selection of Allamanda's combination of bloom and leaf color add a spot of excitement in the landscape. Like other members of the Apocynaceae plant family, all parts of the plant are poisonous, and the sap is known to cause allergic dermatitis on sensitive individuals.
