Aesculus parviflora var. serotina 'Roger's'

Rogers Bottlebrush Buckeye

Roger's Bottlebrush Buckeye is a large, multi-stemmed shrub which grows up to 8-12' tall x 8-15' wide over 10 years. It produces beautiful creamy white flowers in late July on upright spikes, 18-30" long - the longest of any of the cultivars on the market. Foliage turns a bright yellow in the fall. It grows well in sun or partial shade in evenly moist soils and over time will make an impressive clump as it slowly spreads by sucker sprouts.
