This elegant small ornamental maple features chartreuse green leaves that turn butter yellow in the fall. The smaller branches in fall are reddish in color whereas the bark on the trunk is yellowish red. This cultivar was selected because it exhibited greater tolerance for high light conditions than other forms on the market - regardless will perform best in locations with at least some shade throughout the day.
