This tree is a hybrid, a cross between the Big- Toothed Maple (Acer grandidentatum) and the Sugar Maple (A. saccharum). It is also known by its registered name, HIGHLAND PARK®. It is pyramidal in shape, growing to a height of 35 feet with a spread of 22 feet. Its dark green foliage turns bright red in the fall.
