Garden Photographic Society
Founded in 1978, the Garden Photographic Society has been meeting at the Chicago Botanic Garden, a setting that inspires and challenges photographers of all levels. The Society is a welcoming, general-interest photography club where members build friendships, share images, exchange ideas, and take part in outings such as photowalks throughout the year.
All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to enthusiasts to professionals. Members don’t need to own an expensive camera; mobile phone photographers are also welcome.
Offerings include:
Educational programs & live critique sessions that help members improve technique and explore new approaches
Monthly meetings:
- First Thursday: Zoom Club Meeting & Competition Night
- Third Thursday: Educational program or photowalk (held either at the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, IL, or on Zoom)
Opportunities to share work, learn from others, and enjoy photography together
