New! Explore finger-weaving methods to make your own soft-sided basket. Traditionally, salla-style baskets are made by the Wasco Nation of the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation and the Wishxam peoples of the Columbia River Gorge region in the Pacific Northwest and are still used for gathering purposes. Throughout the course you will learn to follow a pattern, work with jute and two colors of wool yarn to create a braided rim, and experiment with different methods of finger-weaving. Leave with a stunning and unique creation that will become your new favorite tote. You will have homework between sessions. All levels welcome. All supplies included.
