New! Discover the art of papermaking and eco-printing in this hands-on workshop, where you will use botanical materials to create vibrant shapes and colors on handmade paper. Through demonstrations, guided experimentation, and discussion, you will learn how to make paper from cotton and other natural fibers, achieve crisp botanical impressions, and identify plants in the Chicago area that yield beautiful natural dyes. Leave with your own eco-printed handmade postcards and the skills to continue exploring this sustainable art form. All levels welcome. All supplies included. Participants are welcome to bring flat leaves or botanical materials to put into paper if desired. Lunch is on your own.
