Camp registration and cancellation policies

Registration Deadline
Registration is open until camps fill or one week prior to the start date of camp.

Confirmation of your registration
You will receive an automated reply immediately upon completion of your online registration. After registering online you will receive periodic email messages with important Camp CBG updates. Please note that all camp communication is sent to the email associated with your camp registration (the person who registered the child). Additional email addresses cannot be added.

Wait Lists
Many of our camps fill early! When cancellations occur in full camps, vacancies are filled from the waiting lists in the order of receipt. To be placed on the waitlist, please call (847) 835-6801. You will be contacted via email and/or telephone to inquire if you remain interested in accepting the available spot(s). If accepted, your credit card information will be obtained, and participation confirmed.

camp CBG Cancellation Policy
In light of COVID-19, we will be waving cancellation fees if you or your camper become sick. To cancel, please call (847) 835-6801. We are unable to refund for missed days of camp. Camp CBG registration fees are nontransferable. Camps canceled by the Garden because of low enrollment or Garden closure will be automatically fully refunded. The Garden reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment. For those who had registered for our original Camp CBG offerings, if you have not already done so, please reach out to our Customer Support team regarding your refund. Please email customersupport@chicagobotanic.org and include the following:

  • Current order number (found at the top of your confirmation email)
  • Your name, phone, and email address
  • Message indicating which of the following options you prefer: I want a voucher/I want to donate/I want a refund You will receive an email once your request has been processed; there may be a delay in receiving this email.

Break and day off Camp Cancellation Policy
In light of COVID-19, we will be waving cancellation fees if you or your camper become sick. To cancel, please call (847) 835-6801. For non-medical reasons, you may cancel your child’s Break or School Day Off Camp registration up to two weeks before the first day of camp. We are not able to give refunds for cancellations with less than two weeks' notice. A ten percent administrative handling fee per child will be assessed for all cancellations. We are unable to refund for missed days of camp. Registration fees are nontransferable. Camps canceled by the Garden because of low enrollment or Garden closure will be automatically fully refunded. The Garden reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment.

Membership
Garden Plus and above members receive a 20 percent discount on all Camp CBG programs. This discount is extended to the member's children or grandchildren only. Those holding individual Garden memberships will not receive this discount. Please call (847) 835-8215 if you would like to upgrade your membership in order to receive the discount. You will need to provide a member ID number at the time of camp registration. Please note that Garden membership is nontransferable.
