Serbian spruce (Picea omorika)

Planting Site:
N/R +35 yrs
Description:

Native to Yugoslavia, the Serbian spruce is a handsome, narrow pyramidal evergreen reaching a mature height of 50 to 60 feet with a spread of only 20 feet. It can be used as a screen or specimen plant. The foliage is a dark glossy green with white upper sides, giving this tree a very striking appearance. An unusual spruce for the Midwest, this evergreen's pendulous branchlets add to its unique habit.
