Amersfoort English Yew

Dwarf English yew 'Amersfoort' is a strikingly different looking yew. It prefers full or part sun, with moderate moisture and is hardy to USDA zone 5. Its un-yew like foliage has unusually short dense flat dark green needles 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length. Mature size is 8 feet high by 5 feet wide, with open branching. It is a unique specimen plant that adds interest to a garden.
