Pink Giant Glory of the Snow

Native to mountainsides in Turkey, 'Pink Giant' is an upright-growing bulb, producing showy pink flowers during late winter and mid-spring. It reaches a maximum height of 9 inches under full sun to partial shade with moderate soil moisture conditions. The plant is useful as a ground cover or understory spring flower beneath deciduous trees, and it is resistant to deer.

Taxonomists recently moved it from its former genus Chionodoxa.
