Blue sage is a clump-forming perennial that grows to a maximum height of 5 feet. It requires full sun and dry to medium moisture conditions. From July to October the plant produces showy blue flowers that attract butterflies. It is resistant to deer, native to the Midwest and mostly used in a border.
