Floribunda Rose
Hot Cocoa floribunda rose produces fragrant, burnt orange flowers with a hint of deep coral and chocolate brown, from mid-June thru mid-October. The unique color is actually hard to describe. A 2003 All-America Rose Selection, this patented rose was hybridized by Thomas Carruth and introduced by Weeks Roses. It grows up to 4 feet high with full sun and moderate moisture conditions. The disease-resistant, glossy new leaves are significantly darker than the older leaves. Floribunda roses started as hybrids between hybrid teas, with their large flowers, and polyantha roses, which produce an abundance of flowers in clusters.
