Description

This Asian native is a semi-evergreen shrub that grows to 3’. It blooms in April with clusters of white flowers. In winter, the leaves are retained, but get a purplish hue.   Like all rhododendrons, it prefers well-drained, fertile, acidic soil in partial shade.
