Red Sensation Bartlett Pear

This is a pear tree called Sensation Red Bartlett as the fruit is either completely or mostly bright red. This tree is descended from a Bartlett pear tree that was found in Australia in the 1950s to have red fruit.

Bartlett Red Sensation can reach heights of up to 25 feet in height and widths of 10 to 25 feet. In the spring it bears white blossoms, and in the late summer it is a heavy producer of sweet, luscious fruit that should be picked before fully ripened. Planting another pear tree nearby will enhance fruit production through cross-pollination.
