Victoria Fall Reblooming Tall Bearded Iris

Iris 'Victoria Falls' is a vibrant blue with ruffled petals and a white patch in the center of the falls highlighting the white beards. This is a tall bearded iris standing 40 inches tall. It blooms in early mid to late season with a mild fragrance and may re-bloom. In 1978 Undercurrent was awarded Honorable Mention by the American Iris Society and in 1980 it received the Award of Merit. In 1984 it received the Dykes Medal which is the Nobel prize of the Iris world, given annually to just one tall bearded iris. The classic 'Fleur de Lys' which has been a symbol of royalty throughout history is an adaptation of the iris flower.
