Smooth Hydrangea

Silverleaf Hydrangea is a rounded shrub with attractive foliage that is dark green on top with siver undersides. A native of the eastern and southeastern USA, it needs full sun to partial shade and moist soil conditions to reach a height of 6 feet, although it needs protection from heat in hot climates and from cold winds in colder regions. From early spring to midsummer it produces attractive white lace-cap blooms. It can be grown as a specimen or as part of a border or screen.
