Woodstock Dutch Hyacinth

Intensely fragrant dark magenta flowers with a maroon sheen adorn the stout spikes of this 1922 sport of the cultivar 'Jan Bos'. Wonderful foil for contrasting with a range of other flower colors in the garden. Plant in full sun and well-drained soils, and protect from chipmunks. When protected, they will produce daughter (side) bulbs and over time produce a mass of flowers rather than a single stalk.
