Carnival Coffee Bean Alumroot

Carnival Coffee Bean Alumroot matures to a neat 12 inch by 14 inch mound shape and has leaves with mixed shades of amber, orange and tan. Although primarily grown for its decorative foliage, a spike of delicate creamy white flowers appears in early to mid summer, increasing the height to 18 inches and adding interest. Carnival Coffee Bean one of ten Carnival Alumroot cultivars with diverse foliage colors, uniform size and good heat tolerance. The Carnival Series was introduced by Darwin Plants, the official trade name of a Dutch company, Witteman and Co, founded in 1865. For the best foliage color grow in partial shade. It works well as a color accent in containers or borders and mass planted in partial shade as a groundcover. Patented in 2014.
